What is Pune Porsche Case?
On the night of 19 May 2024, in Kalyani Nagar, Pune, a 17 year old boy was driving his Porsche car along with his friends and all of them were returning from a bar. The car was moving at a very high speed. On the same road, a bike was going there were two people sitting on the bike, a boy and a girl (Anish Awadhia) and (Ashwini Koshta) both of them belonged to the IT sector. The car was moving so fast that it hit the bike and Anish and Ashwini died on the spot. The sound of the collision was so frightening that everyone gathered and arrested the accused boy. Anish and Ashwini both belonged to Madhya Pradesh.
Now what will happen next?
Since the boy is 18 years old, let us tell you that the Juvenile Justice Board has sent him to a juvenile home. Earlier, the police had also arrested his builder father, according to police officials, the juvenile justice board has sent the minor boy to a juvenile home till June 5. Police have arrested five accused so far. These include the names of two managers of the bar, the owner of the bar, a hotel employee and the father of the accused, Vishal Aggarwal.
Administration took big action after this incident
After the Pune Porsche incident, both the police and administration have become very strict. Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has started targeting illegally run pubs, restaurants and clubs in Pune city. Pune Municipal Corporation has so far demolished 54 restaurants-pubs and clubs.
A PMC official said that some restaurants and rooftop pubs running without permission in Pune city have been demolished. This action has taken place in many other areas of Kalyani Nagar as well.
