Today, 60,244 new constables are joining the Uttar Pradesh Police. These new constables will get their appointment letters in a big event under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s Mission Rozgar (Mission Employment) program.
This event is taking place at the Defense Expo Ground in Lucknow. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be the chief guest and will personally hand over appointment letters to the selected candidates. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will also be there.
Out of these 60,244 new constables, 12,048 are ladies. This is the first time so many women are being appointed together in a security force. This is a huge step toward ladies’ empowerment.
The program will begin at 12 noon. The recruitment process was peaceful and fair. Exams were held in 1174 centers across 67 districts without any problems.
This big recruitment will give a boost to the UP Police and help the youth get jobs. It will also help in making the state more secure. In the past 8 years, more than 8.5 lakh young people have got government jobs in Uttar Pradesh.
